Dr. Ileana Perez-Quintairos has practiced dermatology and cosmetic surgery since 1994. After earning her medical degree from the University of South Florida, she completed her dermatology residency in Tampa and a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Minnesota, becoming the first Florida dermatologist board certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

She has authored medical journal articles and textbook chapters, and frequently lectures on radio, TV, at schools, and hospital conferences. Dr. Perez-Quintairos is a Voluntary Assistant Professor at the University of Miami and has served as an Examiner and Board Trustee for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.

In 2006, she founded Sunset Dermatology and opened her advanced South Miami facility in 2011. Known for natural results and a strong focus on patient safety, she offers cutting-edge general and cosmetic dermatology treatments.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, George Quintairos, and they have two children, Nicky and Katerina. She enjoys traveling with her family to concerts and Broadway shows.
